Technical Description
A magnificent late 17th century Bohemian engraved wine glass goblet dating to 1680-1700.
It has a large round funnel bowl engraved with farm buildings in a forested setting. Flowers and grasses with a large Tullip and flying bird finish the scene. A double band of spiked gadrooning to the lower bowl.
Sits on excellent stem with a shoulder merese above a graduated set of three cushion knops. An inverted baluster knop with an unusual large blade and basal knop. Conical folded foot.
An outstanding example of late 17th century Bohemian workmanship.

Bohemia, c1680-1700
Condition
Excellent, no chips cracks, or restoration. There is a small slag seed and some grit in one section of the inner folded foot which is from manufacture and insignificant. A very well balanced glass and a stunning work of art from approx 350 years ago.
