French 19th Century Champleve Four Glass Mantel Clock

Description

A beautiful French brass antique mantel clock with colourful champleve enamel ornamentation to the case, dial and pendulum. The case has fine quality acanthus leaf mouldings and feet, onyx plinth base with shaped top and four bevelled glass panels showcasing the clocks movement.

The clock has a brass dial with Roman numerals and a French eight day duration movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.

The movement back plate is stamped - Made in France

?The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
