A fantastic pair of antique Victorian amboyna bedside chests. They were made in England by Lamb’s of Manchester, they date from around the 1860-1880 period.
The quality is outstanding, they are beautifully made with absolutely stunning amboyna grain patterns throughout. They have ebony wood trim around the drawer fronts, top edges and bases. The drawers have lots of storage space, beautifully turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
