An Edwardian cut glass vinegar bottle is a small, decorative glassware vessel produced during the Edwardian era, typically featuring geometric facets and used for serving condiments at the dining table.

These pieces are generally constructed from lead crystal or flint glass with hand-cut detailing, frequently accompanied by a sterling silver or silver-plated identifying label suspended by a chain.

Authenticity is determined by examining the weight and clarity of the glass, hand-cut facets with natural wear marks, proper hallmarks on any silver components, and appropriate manufacturing techniques of the period.

They can be displayed on open shelving, dining sideboards, or mantelpieces as part of a curated collection of antique glassware to add subtle texture and historical interest.

Antique glass should be washed by hand in lukewarm water with mild detergent, avoiding harsh abrasives or sudden temperature changes, and dried carefully with a lint-free cloth.
