Grandfather Clock

18th century
Description

A good longcase clock from the George 3rd period. With an eight day movement and arched dial rolling moon, by B Booth Pontefract. The oak case has mahogany crossbanding with a nice inlaid geometric panel just above the door. The box base is sat on the original bracket feet. To the top of the case the hood has turned spindles and a swan neck pediment, typical of the period. Ticking away nicely and ready for a new home.
