A gorgeous Victorian antique silver knot brooch, made in Scotland around 1880. It ia made of three interlocking or knotted silver bars laced with nine agates. The stones are carnelians, jaspers, Montrose and moss agates. The brooch has a long pin which clips into a ''C'' clasp, there also is a suspension ring so the brooch can be used as a pendant or can have a safety chain fitted. This would made an excellent gift.
