Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1880s.
I have for sale a 1880s French striking and repeating carriage clock made in France ,this is a very nice heavy case style and in good original condition with the original base plate find another like this.

The movement was done around 5 years ago but just serviced so running spot on.
The clock has Geneva stop work to stop over winding.
The Case
The case is in solid shiny brass and stands 19cm high x 10cm wide with a depth of 9cm it is in good original condition with mint thick 5mm bevelled sides/front/back door and top viewing glass.

The case is very heavy and shiny and very hard to photograph they do not do the clock justice at all.
The Dial
The dial is in original condition white porcelain chapter ring with stunning bold Roman numerals ,the clock also retains its very fine original black ornate hands.

The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time and strike which strikes the hours via a small sweet gong to the rear also has the repeater button on top to repeat the last hour strike, the movement has been serviced and tested so keeping great time over the eight days and has the bonus of the original serviced silvered and jewelled platform escapement.

The movement has stop work on the going side it is of top quality much better than an average repeater carriage clock of this type.
Overall a very beautiful quality carriage clock by a top quality French maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
I will ship worldwide and pack very carefully please read my feedback from other clock buyers.
