A rather lovely Mahogany 8 day Grandfather Clock by John Todd of Glasgow and surviving from around c1825.
In very good condition works well and keeps time and with all original parts.
Standing on four bracket feet above a panelled stem with cupboard door with working key.
Having a japanned dial and blued steel hands with Roman numerals numbers and an anchor escapement and rack striking on a single bell.
This clock will be sent with the old purchase price invoice from the previous owner in 2001 which was £3700.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing method
