The World is Made of Glass Ltd. has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

This is a rare Victorian two-tier flower pot green glass dump paperweight with blue coloured flower petals dating from the mid to late 19th century.
The dump is in excellent condition for its age. This means, of course, that it shows the age related wear and tear to the rim of the base commensurate with some 150 years of use.

The dump is in green glass with a tin foil representation of two tiers of flowers in a pot embedded within it. The lower tier is of six small flowers with a larger flower above. The larger flower has alternate petals in blue; a rare feature on a Victorian dump. It measures 13 cm (5.2 inches) in height. The base has a large, rough pontil mark. It is 9.2 cm (3.7 inches) in diameter at its widest point. There is a small chip out of the base. There are no other chips, cracks, or any obvious evidence of restoration.
It weighs 1.57 kg. (~ 3 lb. 7 oz.).
