This is an antique tambour corner cabinet. A Dutch, walnut and oak inlaid cupboard, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Expressive finish and of delightful proportion for corner room placement

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Walnut presents fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
Oak panelling to rear and interior, with fan-shaped shelf
Marquetry decor to the top with ebony, boxwood and satinwood inlay

Dressed with a small circular brass pull with central foliate decor, opening left to right
Further inlaid with an attractive geometric pattern and wheat sheaf decor
Standing upon a pair of tapered block feet at the front

Single foot to rear, inset slightly to provide room for skirting boards
