Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian glassware, produced during the reign of King Edward VII from 1901 to 1910, is characterised by lighter, more delicate forms than heavy Victorian pieces, often featuring neoclassical motifs and intricate hand-etching.

These pieces are typically crafted from clear lead crystal or blown glass, shaped by hand-blowing into moulds and finished with wheel-cut, acid-etched, or diamond-engraved surface patterns.

Authentic pieces often exhibit small imperfections such as tiny air bubbles, pontil marks on the base, minor variations in wall thickness, and softer wear patinas consistent with age.

They can be displayed on a bar cart, incorporated into a tablescape for special occasions, or housed within a glass-fronted cabinet to add texture and historical contrast to contemporary spaces.

Antique glass should be washed exclusively by hand in lukewarm water using mild detergent, avoiding sudden temperature changes and harsh dishwashers to protect the delicate etched surface.
