Description

Outstanding Chinese Camphor wood storage / blanket box 5 deeply carved panels. The panels are skilfully carved scenes with foliage, flowers and figures in traditional dress. Beautifully carved dragons twisting themselves around the column at each corner. The hinged lid with its brass lock lifts to reveal a very clean interior with removable tray. In excellent condition with normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use that will be a perfect addition to any home. An extremely useful solid piece of history for storing anything from blankets, toys or shoes.
