Good Old Sheffield Plated Lidded Tankard

Description

This lidded tankard is made of Old Sheffield Plate. Dating to c1780-1800 and with a beautiful wooden base. Bearing no makers marks, but visibly seamed under the handle. A lovely tactile piece.

In good antique condition with some slight copper bleed to raised edges and lid. Very small piece of solder strengthening to base of handle.
