Sevres style porcelain refers to 19th-century European ceramics crafted in the manner of the famous 18th-century French Royal Manufactory of Sevres. These ceramics are recognised by vibrant ground colours such as bleu celeste, intricate gilding, and finely painted floral or pastoral scenes.

These decorative urns were primarily constructed from hard-paste porcelain, painted with enamel pigments, and finished with burnished gold leaf gilding. They were frequently mounted with cast brass or bronze ornaments, known as ormolu.
