A superior quality early Victorian mahogany cased 8 day single fusee English dial clock with 12" convex dial in superb original condition, fully overhauled and working c.1860. Fine quality figured mahogany case with slim turned surround to the dial, matching back box with access door to the base and side. The Original painted convex dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, bears the makers name WM Waite, Cheltenham. Sat behind the original convex glass door set in a cast brass bezel. The 8 day single fusee movement with shaped shoulders to the plates and anchor escapement, fully overhauled and working. Presented in superb original condition. Measures 12" dial x 15" diameter overall x 6" deep.
