This is a Victorian acid-etched, cut and engraved set of water jug and two goblets, attributed to Richardsons of Stourbridge, the decoration possibly by J. & J. Northwood, and made in the early part of the second half of the 19th century.
 
The items are in excellent condition for their age. They show some age related wear and tear commensurate with use.
 
The jug measures 9 cm (3.6 inches) by 7.5 cm (3 inches) across the extended pouring rim. The jug has been acid-etched to give a frosted appearance and has then been cut to reveal the clear glass beneath, panels of which have been engraved. Charles R.
