An imposing green faux tortoishell japanned clock by Michael Orme, of Newport in Shropshire.
The caddy topped hood with three gilt finials, the case with polychrome chinoiserie decoration.
The twelve inch break arch dial with a signed boss in the arch, having a dutch style wavy minute ring, subsidiary seconds dial, and a calendar aperture. It has a four pillar eight day duration movement.
