Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The 8 day, 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart brass dial. The dial has gilt brass spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial and working date indicator.

The case is basically 18th Cent and is in good overall condition but does have the add knock here and there. It has probably had some repainting at some time; possibly in the 1920’s however overall it is a most attractive clock.

The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase.
