Superb 19th Cent Moon Dial Longcase Clock

Description

An exceptional quality 19th Cent longcase clock. The case is in beautifully figured mahogany and it has superb cast bronze mounts.

It is by Thomas Yarndley of Birmingham. He is listed as working there in the mid 19th cent.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has an attractive painted dial that houses a moon phase indicator to the arch.

The case is in excellent condition, has retained its original finish and is a beautiful colour.

The movement has been serviced and is in perfect working order.

The maximum dimensions are:

233cm (91.75") high

58cm (23") wide

27cm (10.5") deep
