Victorian silver teaspoons refer to flatware produced in Great Britain during the reign of Queen Victoria, between 1837 and 1901, often characterised by classic patterns such as Fiddle, Old English, or Kings pattern.

British silver teaspoons of this era were typically crafted from sterling silver, an alloy consisting of 92.5 percent pure silver and 7.5 percent copper for durability.

Authentic pieces feature official British hallmarks stamped into the metal, including the Chester assay office mark, a date letter, a silver purity mark, and a makers mark.

Antique silver teaspoons can be integrated into contemporary dining settings for afternoon tea, dessert service, or displayed as decorative table accents in glass cabinets.

Clean sterling silver using a soft cloth and specialised silver polish to remove tarnish, avoiding abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemical cleaners that can scratch the surface.
