This Regency wall-hanging corner cupboard is a fine example of 1800s cabinet-making, executed in rich warm brown mahogany with striking flame mahogany veneers on the double panelled doors. The architectural form includes a bold moulded cornice to the top and structured panel details on both the upper and lower sections of the doors. Original brass escutcheons are fitted centrally between the doors, alongside a decorative pale green tassel hanging from the hardware. Inside, three fitted shelves and internal spice drawers provide practical storage options behind the secure locks. Practical for everyday interior use, this handsome wall-hanging piece brings traditional style and functional storage to an unused room corner in a hallway, dining room or study.
