Antique George 1 Style Walnut Dome Top Hanging Bookcase, C1920, 110cm.

A well constructed early 20th century, Walnut hanging bookcase in the George 1 style, with dome top, green painted lining and twin glazed doors with operating lock.

A cabinet maker, workshop made piece to a high specification and design detail, observing traditional cabinetry methods.

The walnut veneer has had a gentle bleaching to the surface and later painted lime-green lining, fitted with 3 shelves, lock and key.

A superbly stylish wall or table mounted bookcase of excellent scale, quality and colour, measuring 110cm tall and 75cm wide, extending to 85cm at the upper cornice.

A wonderful decorative antique of practical use and aesthetic appeal, function and form, an interior design piece that can enhance a classic or contemporary space.
