Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. FAQs

The Arts and Crafts movement emerged in Britain during the late 19th century as a reaction against mass production, championing traditional craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and simple, functional forms.

Pieces from this period typically utilised native hardwoods such as ash, oak, and elm, featuring sturdy joinery like dovetailing and mortise-and-tenon joints, often accompanied by hand-hammered brass or copper hardware.

Authentic pieces exhibit hand-cut joinery, natural timber shrinkage, period-appropriate hardware, and signs of genuine age and wear rather than uniform machine finishing.

These versatile items provide functional bedside storage while adding natural texture and historical character, pairing effectively with both minimalist modern decor and eclectic traditional settings.

Maintain timber furniture by keeping it away from direct sunlight and heat sources, dusting regularly with a dry cloth, and occasionally applying natural beeswax to nourish and protect the wood finish.
