FAQs

Cherry wood has been utilised by cabinet makers for centuries due to its rich grain, warm hue, and durability, frequently featuring in period bedroom furniture collections.

Authentic period bedside tables are typically constructed using solid hardwoods like cherry or mahogany, featuring traditional joinery such as dovetail drawers and brass hardware.

Authenticity is determined by examining hand-cut dovetails, tool marks, natural timber oxidisation, and period-appropriate brass handles or fixings.

A dark wooden nightstand adds warmth and character to modern schemes, pairing effectively with minimalist lighting and neutral linens.

Maintain the timber by dusting with a dry microfibre cloth and occasionally applying natural beeswax, avoiding direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
