the case, in beautifully figured mahogany with wonderfully intricate herringbone style inlay detailing and rope twist columns, the hood has arched pediment with herringbone inlay and rope twist column supports, the face with seconds hand and calendar, is painted with pastoral scenes.
this really is a stunning clock in full working order.
