Bow Fronted 19thc Mahogany Cabinet / Cupboard

19th century
Description

Just in from a a local house this most unusual and highly useful cupboard is in nice tidy condition. The bow front is a most appealing feature as is the tooled leather surface. The leather is in good condition with only some impression marks from items being on it but there is no scuffing, no cuts or rips as can be seen in one of the pictures. It has good colour with a slighty mellow tone and a very clean finish. The inside has shelves that can be moved up or down or even removed. It could be superb in a dining room for glasses or maybe as a drinks cabinet or could be used as a music centre perhaps. Lots of uses for this really unusual 19th Century cabinet. The doors slide back behind the turned pillars so no open doors if you have a limited space. Give us a call to discuss 01565 874075

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
