1920 - 1940
Description

Very heavy brass MOD pattern 8 day dashboard ships master clock, circa 1940s

A ship's master clock used for maintaining ship's time (not for navigation) during voyages.

Thick glass in heavy cast brass bezel.

The bezel mounted with a hack mechanism stop / start setting function screw, F-S screw, nurled stainless steel push and turn hand setting and wind knobs.

The metal back case with labels;

MOD. RECORD

CLOCK.MASTER REGULATING

Diameter of the bezel 5,7/8" ir 15cm

Weight 2398 grams.

In very good condition with no damage or repair.

The electric impulse mechanism is not present.

Winds fully and runs well keeping good mechanical time over eight days.

A rare and unusual clock.
