Mahogany Antique Grandfather Clock by John Vidion of Faversham

Description

A small and well proportioned mahogany longcase clock.

The 8 day duration movement striking the hours on a bell with an arched silvered brass dial with engraving throughout and showing both seconds, date, makers name to the centre and strike/silent facility to the arch. The small mahogany case with long trunk door and plain base with single shaped plinth. The hood with a broken arch top and with reeded angle pillars with brass Doric capitals. Height: 6'9½
