A good quality Victorian bracket mantel clock. Fluted side columns, two rococo gilded finials and rococo gilt feet. A brass and silvered dial with strike/silent and slow/fast dials. Silvered chapter ring and cast gilt spandrels. A Winterhalder and Hoffmeier quarter striking 'ting-tang' mechanism of 8-day duration. Circa 1890
