Large Art Deco Mantel Clock Diana the Huntress with Greyhound by Limousin

1920 - 1940
Description

Diana the Huntress , Art Deco Clock Sculpture by the renowned French artist Limousin who was working in Paris during the 1920s -30s - signed to the back of the lady's cape. Streamlined , Art Deco , Geometric Design . In my opinion the pinnacle of Art Deco clock design .

Black marble base with onyx inlay , Diana the huntress with a spear in hand , hunting with her dog , beautifully set against a figured green onyx backdrop.

All in working, good vintage condition with usual signs of age as to be expected. The clock movement has recently been serviced and it is in good, working condition.

Beautiful piece, that rarely becomes available for sale. A must have for any Art Deco enthusiast !
