I have for sale an 1890 French masked dial carriage clock made in France which has been fully restored in both movement and case in March 2023.
The Case
The Dial
The dial is in untouched original condition with Arabic numerals and the original ornate spade hands are housed in a beautiful gilded mask.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time and strikes so strikes the hours and halves, the movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, hand polished, serviced, and oiled so keeping a great time over the eight days via the original re-silvered platform.
Not marked on the plates but looks like a Jacot.
I Have the original key also.
Overall a very rare beautiful quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
