Mahoagny Bracket Clock

19th century
Description

A traditional English style bracket clock, with its original French movement. The dome top case, has a curl figure mahogany front panel, with fine boxwood stringing. The sides have arched brass fishscale frets. The convex enamel dial has a bevel edge glass. The 8 day French movement strikes the hours on a gong and is numbered 5471 . Made by A.D. MOUGIN (c.1880-1900)

In very original condition .The case has its original finish, the movement has been serviced an is guaranteed for 12 months (our professional servicing includes cleaning, any necessary bushing, pivot polishing, testing and timing)
