Large swedish long case mora clock, presented in scraped back paint.
Scraped back down to reveal a partial colour of it's original paint.

Removable hood with opening door and domed handmade glass. enamel round dial, with hand painted arabic numerals, signed by the maker jon sobman, with the area of wexio, which is likely to be an old spelling of växjö. main pine built body, with door to the front which allows access to the pendulum. standing on bracket feet.

Original movement currently has no pulleys, but doe's strike when moved by hand, original pendulum supplied, but no weights. clock is an ideal candidate to be fitted with a quartz movement for accurate time keeping. this could be done for an extra £200. small crack to the original hood glass, but seems to be stable. minor age splits and areas of fill to woodwork.
