Description

A clock that would originally have been taken on campaigns by very senior French Generals etc. in the days when they took everything with them including the kitchen sink.

A lovely compact clock of small proportions with a top class 8 day, bell striking movement which strikes on the half-hour and the hour. It has just been serviced by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.

The white enamelled dial has black Roman numerals and finely cut hands. It is signed "REID & SONS. PARIS." and is shielded by a "lift-out" glass via a small brass knob to the top.

The case is nicely polished with ebonising and box stringing. It has diagonal glazed windows to the sides and a gilded carrying handle to the top. It stands on 4 bun feet.

A lovely compact little clock that would fit comfortably into any situation.
