Walnut Mantel Clock

19th century
Description

A small walnut cased rmantel clock. The rectangular case is veneered in matched figured walnut. It has a painted dial with an inset centre alarm disc and a brass bezel. The 2 day pendulum movement has an alarm mechanism and stop work to prevent overwinding. It was retailed by Camerer Kuss of London. (Germany, c. 1880)

20.00cm wide 24.00cm high 11.00cm deep (7.87 inches wide 9.45 inches high 4.33 inches deep)

Current Condition

The case has been re-polished, the dial has been professionally restored and the movement has been serviced and is guaeranteed for 12 months. (our professional servicing includes cleaning, any necessary bushing, pivot polishing, testing and timing)
