I have for sale an 1890 French carriage clock made in France, the clocks case and movement have both been fully restored ultrasonic cleaned and the movement re-built oiled run, and tested and a new platform escapement was added so a few Hundred pounds saved against a cheaper clock.
The Case
This case has the chasing work top and bottom banding and is in the serpentine case style with chasing on the top
The Dial
The dial is in original condition in white porcelain with black Roman numerals and contains the original black ornate hands.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time only, the movement has been fully ultrasonic cleaned and hand polished serviced, and oiled so the clock is keeping good time over the eight days.
Overall a very rare beautiful quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
