Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1890s.
I have for sale a rare striking double fusee Ting Tand quarter striking lantern clock cycle 1890s English lantern clock made in England in a rare set up with the twin bells and hammers on a massive twin fusee chain driven movement.

The Case
The case is in solid brass and stands 40cm high x 14cm wide with a depth of 14.5cm it is in very good original condition with a cast bell at the top and scroll work around the face and dolphins across the top the work is of top quality a very nice heavy striking clock with the twin solid strike hammers.

The Dial
The Movement

The movement is an eight-day time and quarter strike, which strikes the quarters half and hours on twin bells to the top with a nice crisp sound, the movement has been fully restored with new springs and then serviced and oiled so keeping a great time over the eight days via the original pendulum this work was done around 5 years ago so just re-serviced and running very strong.

The movement is a thick-plated brass movement running via twin fusee and the original chain is fully serviced it is simply stunning.
Overall a very beautiful heavy large quality lantern clock that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare clock and a great find.
Will post worldwide.
