Scottish Moon Roller Longcase Clock

Description

Charming Scottish oak eight day moon roller longcase clock by John Mill, Montrose, circa 1780.

This lovely clock of neat proportions has a brass dial with moon roller, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and working date aperture, inspection windows to each side of the hood, shaped trunk door, original lead weights.

The eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell and has been fully overhauled and serviced and is in good working order.
