Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The case is lovely and slim and has never been touched from the day it was made. It even has its original trunk lock and key.
The 30 hr posted movement strikes the hours on its original large bell. The silvered dial has some lovely engraving and original steel hands.
The case is in excellent original condition and the movement is nice and clean and runs perfectly.
