A Fine French Carriage Clock by Jacot

19th century
Description

A very good quality and original French CARRIAGE CLOCK by Henri Jacot. The case is of “Corniche” design, with perfect bevelled glass panels to all four sides and the top, retaining its particularly good original gilding which is in excellent condition. The eight-day movement, complete with its original lever platform escapement, strikes hours and half-hours on a gong and repeats the hours at will.

Complete with outer travelling case and Jacot key. Perfect working order and guaranteed for at least two years.
