A good quality rosewood balloon clock in original condition, dating to the late 19th Century. It has a rosewood case inlaid with a central satinwood shell motif surrounded by boxwood stringing and has brass ball feet. Having bevel edge convex glass and an enamel dial, which is signed by the original retailer "Maple & Co Ltd London & Paris. It has an 8 day duration movement that strikes the hours and halves on a gong, made by Vincenti
