Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
A double weight, 8 day version, striking on the half-hour and the hour.
The movement is clearly marked with the GUSTAV BECKER logo.

The case retains it's beautifully french polished finish and has a lovely age related patina. It has the original eagle emblem to the top and "cherokee" indian to the pediment.
The 8" two piece dial has black Roman numerals interspaced with red emblems, nicely cut hands, and a brass surround. There is a subsidiary seconds dial. The brass weights and pendulum are in lovely condition.
A classic GUSTAV BECKER Vienna wall clock.
