Description

This is a super 19th century London fusee movement wall clock or station clock in nice clean condition dating from around 1880. The clock has a solid mahogany case with brass bezel and dome glass face. The 12” dial with hand painted Roman numerals signed Frederick Cox 84 Goswell Road EC1.

The single fusee movement with anchor escapement has been fully restored by our horologist and runs beautifully winding on a key once a week. This also has its original small key to lock in the lower door accessing the pendulum.

The clock measures 38 cms in diameter and is 16 cms deep from the wall.
