I have for sale a very heavy English fusee ship's clock sold with a fully restored chain-driven fusee movement and a new spring.
The Case
The case is in solid brass which has been cleaned and polished; she is 8” across x depth of 5” and in good original condition with a cast hinged thick beveled glass front door released via the original pull handle.
The Dial
The dial is in good original condition in white enamel at 140cm across but has some enamel damage at 1-2 pm area it can be restored for around £80 but I think it adds character to the original old clock, also the clock also retains its original black/blue spade hands.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time only; she has been fully restored by myself with a new spring added and runs faultlessly over eight days a really heavy movement signed on the back plate and running via the original chain.
