Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1890s.
I have for sale a very heavy English fusee ships clock sold with a fully restored chain driven fusee movement and a new spring made by Kelvin & James White LTD of Glasgow.
The Case
The case is in solid brass which has been cleaned but left as a matt finish can be polished by the new owner if desired but I like the old original look to the clock; she is 8” across x depth of 5” and in good original condition with a cast hinged thick beveled glass front door released via the original push side button.

The Dial
The dial is in good original condition in white enamel at 140cm across, the clock also retains its original black/blue spade hands and is signed by the maker's Kelvin & James White LTD of Glasgow but as seen only Kelvin & J is still visible.

The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time only; she has been fully restored by myself with a new spring added and runs faultlessly over eight days a really heavy movement signed inside the fusee cone top on the original chain.

If you require any further information, please ask. I am happy to send more photographs or can video the clock running if desired. You are also very welcome to come and view the clock in person, which I would be happy to recommend as the photographs really can’t do it justice.
As with all my clocks, this one is sold with a ‘back-to-base’ 3-month guarantee. I also offer future clock servicing, which I carry out personally at a heavily discounted rate.
I will post worldwide.
