A well presented 18th century antique oak mule chest. The antique oak mule chest has a removable lid that opens up to reveal a spacious interior. The antique oak mule chest has a panelled front and sides, with two fitted drawers to the bottom of the front, each fitted with decorative brass back plates and drop handles. Raised on stile feet. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and splits to the top (pictured), also marks and scratches to the sides and front (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak mule chest remains structurally solid and sound.
