French Bulle Clock in Stunning Condition, Circa 1860s

19th century
Description

An early1860s French mantle clock made in France by japy Freres pre medal awards on the outside count wheel and signed on the backplate of the movement.

The Case

The case is in shell and brass inlay it is simply stunning on the eye and standing at 113.5” high x 7” wide and 4” in depth all in all in very good condition with no missing brass inlay a beautiful clock that would grace any house.

The Dial

The dial is in good original condition in white porcelain and brass inlay design to the center with the original black fine moon hands all set off with Roman numerals.

The Movement

The movement is signed and was fully restored about 6 years ago just serviced and running very strong striking the hours and halves on a nice sweet bell to the rear.

Overall a rare early example in very nice condition very dark wood case fire red shell and fine brass stringing all in great order find another like this one!!

If you require any more information or pictures please ask you are welcome to come and view the clock or I can send a direct WhatsApp film of the clock running if desired, as with all my clocks they will leave with a back-to-base 3-month guarantee and should you need your clock serviced in the future, of course, this would be done heavily discounted by myself, I'm always happy to buy one of my clocks back in the future should you wish to PX or simply sell on.
