Arundel Clocks has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The Case
The case is in shell and brass inlay it is simply stunning on the eye and standing at 113.

The Dial
The dial is in good original condition in white porcelain and brass inlay design to the center with the original black fine moon hands all set off with Roman numerals.
The Movement
The movement is signed and was fully restored about 6 years ago just serviced and running very strong striking the hours and halves on a nice sweet bell to the rear.

Overall a rare early example in very nice condition very dark wood case fire red shell and fine brass stringing all in great order find another like this one!!
