Description

A truly stunning example of these highly desirable and popular wallclocks.

A double-weight Vienna Regulator made by the World reknowned GUSTAV BECKER and dating from around 1890.

The walnut case is in pristine condition, retaining it's original French-polished finish and having a deep,rich,warm patina.

The clock has a quite rare, 8" dia. eneamelled dial. (nearly all have 7") and this is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. It has black Roman numerals and a subsiduary seconds dial.

The brass weights and pendulum are also in very good condition.

The clock has just been FULLY OVERHAULED AND SERVICED by a registered member of The Brirish Horological Institute.

The clock strikes once on the half hour and the hours on the hour. It is an 8 day, twin train movement.

All in all, a truly magnificent clock that will grace any home.
