Fabulous Georgian mule chest/ house keeper's trunk in solid mahogany. In fantastic condition with historic marks / scuffs that are to be expected with functional antique furniture. It comes in two sections so easy to transport to and around the home. The top is a large trunk having attractive solid brass carrying handles on each side and a base of two deep drawers with decorative brass handles and escutcheons raised on four square legs. It's large hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior providing ample storage. Ideal at the end of your bed for storing extra blanket , pillows etc however with it's gorgeous rich colour and amazing patina why not show it off in the main room.
