Its About Time has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Every part is inspected, serviced, cleaned and polished. We then re-bush and ultrasonic clean! J.W.Benson would stamp their clocks with an oval stamp the same size as the stamp of Drocourt's. We have often seen the Drocourt stamp over stamped with the J.W.B. The clock strikes on a soft gong for the hour and half hour and the dial is free from any cracks or chips. A good 'investment grade' clock with the original case and key!
